Before I started to write, I painted, just like everybody else. But somehow, I kept drawing. Painting, which later transformed into different kinds of art mediums in my life, always stayed there as a cornerstone.

My work revolves around the human face. It inspires me how expression and stillness coexist via light and shadows, even in the most minimalist drawings; how so much can be expressed in such a small canvas of skin. Every face has a different story to tell.
